Sukuna's Fingers

Sukuna's Fingers are well-known, special grade cursed objects. They hold so much cursed energy inside of them that they can't be destroyed. If the average human were to eat any cursed object they will surely die. Yuji Itadori is a special case however. This high schooler happens to be one in a million and was able to eat, not just any cursed object, but Sukuna's fingers and survive. Normally, Sukuna would have taken over his body but Itadori was able to suppress him because he's just that powerful. The king of curses is reduced to just an extention of a human like it's nothing. Itadori avoided his mandatory execution because of Jujutsu Law by agreeing to live on for the sole purpose of consuming all of Sukuna then dying. If he were to do this, the curse of Sukuna would die with Itadori but that plan won't come without its risks. Obtaining the fingers is hard enough already not to mention that other cursed spirits are drawn to the fingers because they wish to have more cursed energy. To add onto that, unregistered special grades keep popping up everywhere, special grades that are much stronger and sparter. They can't be defeated by any ordinary means.

Cursed spirits are entities that are made from cursed energy. Cursed energy is formed from intense emotion of humans so curses are often around places such as hospitals or schools. People can't see curses unless they have cursed energy themselves. Each curse has its own grade based on how powerful it is. The most powerful is known as special grade. These types of curses have intelligence and many are capable of human speech. As more curses appear, more challenges arrive for the few sorcerers that exist. The only way to get rid of a curse is by exorcising or destroying the curse which is the only mission for Jujutsu scorcerers.

The two main curses that the show focuses on are Sukuna and Mahito. Mahito is a cursed spirit who has human like features and emotions. He becomes the main antagonist in the show as the Jujutsu sorcerers are forced to handle two insanely difficult tasks at once, Mahito and the chaos he likes to cause as well as Sukuna and his effect on Itadori. Mahito got together a group of spirits to complete his goal of eradication of all humanity. He wants cursed spirits to be the only creature left roaming the Earth. While fighting, he likes to experiment because he doesn't know the extent of his powers which will only cause more problems as time goes on and he developes more wisdom on curses.

Sukuna is a cursed spirit who resides in 20 cursed fingers throughout the world. He also resides in a sorcerer, Yuji Itadori who ate a finger to gain cursed energy. The only thing Sukuna wants is to regain his power over the world but he didn't expect to be held back by a high school kid. Itadori may be able to supress him but some times are harder than others to force him back down, especially with the pact they make that comes along with Itadoris death. If Sukuna could regain his full power, he might just be unstoppable.
